Archives for events

One of the neatest things I did at EMC World

I was on Cube TV  (hosted by the guys at Silicon Angle) with Polly Pearson and Kathrin Winkler. It had to be pulled from Justin TV because I fell at the end (some things will never change I guess….). I’m hoping they’ll find a way to post it again.

But my friend Nada did get an excellent picture of the event.

My schedule for the next month

I’ll be at a few events in the next month or so, if you are going to any of these, let’s connect!

EMC World, Boston May 10 – May 13

I’ll be in the EMC Proven Center, the ECN booth, and the Blogger’s Lounge. We are also hosting World Wide Proven Professional Day for the first year, so of course I’ll also be online a lot! If you are coming to EMC World, the official EMC Education list of events is here.

At noon on Tuesday (Proven Professional Day!) I’ll be on “The Cube” -  a live Internet TV show hosted by Silicon Angle. I’ll be on a panel with Polly Pearson (VP of Employment Brand and Strategy Engagement) and Kathrin Winkler (VP and Chief Sustainability Officer). The entire schedule is on Stu’s blog, and you can watch the show here.

Massachusetts ISPI, Newton

I’ll be speaking at Mass ISPI June 1 at 6:15 in Newton Ma (details here). I’,m going to talk about how we convinced our learning execs to give social media a try, as well as the work we’ve done so far.

Enterprise 2.0 Conference, Boston

I’m on a panel with Marcia Conner about Social Learning 2.0 on June 17.

Looking forward to connecting with old and new friends at all of these event!

Where I’ll be in November

Besides working on my two performance classes, I’ll also be attending a couple of Boston-based events.

Tues Nov 3 I’ll be at the Mass chapter of ISPI to hear Cammy Bean talk about eLearning authoring tools. Several other #lrnchat folks will be there too.

Tues Nov 17 I’m planning to go to the Greater Boston ASTD meeting to hear Dave Wilkins speak about Social Learning and Social Networking.
