About Me

I’m Gina. I live in MA, but I am originally from the Redneck Riveria.I work for Dell Storage in a social media function. I’ll be posting more on just what that means in the coming months.

I have a master’s degree from the  Instructional Systems program at Florida State University. If you are interested, here is the portfolio that is the result of my studies.

I’m an experienced sysadmin and storage professional, and have been doing social media since before we called it social media – check out my LinkedIn profile!  I’m usually paying attention on twitter too.

For those of you wondering what this sting in my my Twitter profile means:

GIT d+ LSAHU++++ P+ L++ E— W+++ t– b++ e+++ h—

It is actually geek code. 🙂

  1. Hi Gina,
Thnx for following me on twitter (h2cm), now we’re going round in circles 😉
    Good luck with your studies.
The intrapersonal links page at Hodges’ model includes HCI, accessibility, education and e-learning and may be of interest to you and your fellow students?

    (Scroll down a ways….)

    All the best

  2. I’m currently on the hunt for an online Grad-type program for eLearning/edu.technology. After pouring through US News & World Report top 50 Grad Edu schools, FSU is on my list (and U.Ill.UC & Indiana U & Drexel.edu & maybe a “real” program at Penn State-Great Valley)

I’d *love* to know what you think of it, and how you decided on it.

  3. Gina,
I found your name on “Directory of Learning Professionals on Twitter” and wanted to reach out to you. I visited your Twitter page.

My name is Gomathi and I am the Market Development Manager for Englishcafe. We are currently in beta and could use some feedback on the site. Will you help us out by giving us a quick peek or tweet? In the very near future we will be launching a program where Tutors can make money on our site as well. I may circle back to you when that launches.

    Can we touch base soon?

    Gomathi Shankar
    Market Development Manager
